Following the tradition of Macduffie, all campus activities will be managed by the college system. The college system originated in traditional American universities and adopted a form of health competition to encourage peer support, communication and cooperation.
All students and staff will be assigned to different groups. Schools can choose to appoint deputy team leaders to assume different responsibilities. Shanghai has a red team, a green team and a blue team. This tradition, which aims to encourage competition and cooperation, continues at Macduffie Shanghai.
