Macduffie Shanghai School offers low-level English students the opportunity to learn immersive ESL courses. English proficiency and admission policies can be found in the preliminary assessment policy on campus.
Earn credits for studying immersive ESL courses. Students can take courses at any time. There is a graduation exam at the end of each semester. Students will study ESL English, as well as bilingual science and math courses. Students will also participate in sports, health, Chinese and extracurricular activities and clubs in this grade. Students must pass the ESL course before the end of the 10th grade, otherwise they will not be able to register for the 11th grade or graduate from school.
