The Shanghai Medafi Student British Physics Challenge achieved great results!

2020年3月15日举行的英国物理挑战赛获奖名单公布，中国赛区共有来自全国270多所国际学校和重点中学的近2000名学生参赛，并取得了十分优异的成绩。我校高一B班的燕立峣在比赛中斩获佳绩，获得银奖。

The winners of the British Physics Challenge held on March 15, 2020 announced that nearly 2,000 students from more than 270 international schools and key middle schools across the country participated in the competition and achieved very good results. Yan Lirao from Class G10 B of our school won great achievements in the competition and won a silver award.

英国物理挑战赛是由英国物理奥赛组委会主办。比赛题型新颖，在试题中将基本的物理原理与生活联系在一起，旨在拓展学生的横向思维能力，激发学生的物理潜能，是一项极具挑战性的赛事。

英国物理挑战赛（GCSE & AS年级）是由英国物理奥赛组委会主办。英国物理奥赛组委会主要由牛津大学、英国物理学会和 Odgen 基金会组成，办公室设在牛津大学物理系。

高一B班燕立峣获奖感言

当得知直接在全球范围内的物理比赛中获得了银奖的时候，内心非常的喜悦。因为这不仅是对我之前辛勤付出的肯定，也是对我努力学习的激励。同时也要感谢老师在我学习路上的陪伴，对我的谆谆教诲。希望在以后的日子，我们都能不忘初心，继续努力，为自己创造出一个美好的未来。

I was very pleased when I learned that I won the silver medal directly in the physics competitions around the world. Because this is not only an affirmation of my previous hard work, but also an incentive to study hard. 学习是一个不断积累的过程，也是一个不断探索，不断超越自己，不断成长的过程。每个学生都是一个独立的个体，每个学生都有自己的天性，喜好和特长。我们老师要做的就是发掘学生的特长，激发他们的灵感，鼓励并帮助他们成为最好的自己。在这个特殊的寒假里，我们的孩子们没有因为疫情放弃对知识的探索，没有因为疫情放低对自我的要求，没有放松对自我潜能的挖掘。他们在不耽误网课学习和网课作业的情况下，挤时间抓住每一个时间的间隙，尽情的徜徉在知识的海洋里，努力去思考，去探索，一次又一次的刷新对自我的认识，对知识的认识，对世界的认识。他们虽然离成功还有一段距离，但是他们已经朝着成功的方向，为成功做着精打细算，一步一步在迈进。量变到质变，每一次成功，都是他们的一次蜕变。我们一起祈祷他们破茧成蝶。
