无边际·炫荣耀|恭喜我校学子在“美达菲杯”网络团体拼词挑战赛获奖

美达菲学校的价值观倡导培养学生集体、正直、尊重的品质，着力培养学生的创造力、领导力，鼓励学生追求卓越。为了让学生在国际奥林匹克英语竞赛活动中展示美达菲学子的风采，由SPBCN 国际英文拼词大会主办，美达菲集团承办的“无边际·炫荣耀·2020美达菲杯3vs3网络团体拼词挑战赛”已经拉开帷幕。

Spelling Bee 作为全球历史最悠久的英文赛事，历史文献记载于 1852 年，1925 年源自美国并风靡北美，迄今在全球 100 多个国家，每年超过 5000 万家庭追捧和参与此项活动。在美国 93 年的历史中，每年冠军将获得高额奖金、美国名校录取，甚至被美国总统接见。

Spelling Bee is the oldest English event in the world. The historical documents were recorded in 1852. It originated in the United States in 1925 and became popular in North America. So far, in more than 100 countries around the world, more than 50 million families annually pursue and participate in this event. In the 93-year history of the United States, every year the champion will receive high prize money, admission to a prestigious American school, and even be received by the President of the United States.

2016 年 Spelling Bee 团体赛首次起源于中国，2018 年张凯先生邀请 1989 年全美拼字大赛冠军 ScottIsscs, 2014 年冠军 Sririm，2016 年冠军 Jriram 并联合美国 SASB(South Asian Spelling Bee)拼字大赛，发起创办 ITSO（International Team Spelling Olympiad）国际团队拼词奥林匹克竞赛，至此之后 ITSO 发展成真正意义上的国际奥林匹克英语竞赛活动。

The 2016 Spelling Bee team competition originated in China for the first time. In 2018, Mr. Zhang Kai invited ScottIsscs, the champion of the 1989 American Scrabble Competition, Sririm, the 2014 champion, and Jriram, the 2016 champion, together with the US SASB (South Asian Spelling Bee) Scrabble Competition Founded ITSO (International Team Spelling Olympiad) International Team Spelling Olympiad, after which ITSO developed into a truly international Olympic English competition.

近日美达菲中国教育集团精心组织了本次网络团体拼词挑战赛，广泛发动了各个校区的同学参与。

比赛时间：3 月 29 日—4 月 19 日

比赛地点：SPBCN国家组委会提供线上教室，网络开赛。

比赛语言：全英文

比赛环节安排：Speed Spell 极速拼词、Letter by Letter 字母接龙、Show and Spell 线索拼词、Laser Letter 慧眼识词、Origins Challenge 词源挑战、Guess and Spell 你问我答、Super word 九宫格拼词

参赛选手：高中组（G9-G12）

玩法详解：以各校为基础报名参赛，各校报名选手重新分组进行循环赛， 积分高的小组前两名晋级，晋级队伍再逐轮进行淘汰赛，最终选出两支队伍，进行总决赛，决选出此次“美达菲杯”总冠军。

“美达菲杯”总决赛最终决选出的冠军队伍，将会由 SPBCN 组委会颁发证书，由校方颁发奖杯，获奖通知将公示在 SPBCN 国家组委会公众号和校方公众号媒体上。另外 SPBCN 将会对获奖选手及指导教师进行采访对公众发布。

The winners of the final selection of the "Macduffie Cup" finals will be issued a certificate by the SPBCN Organizing Committee, and the trophy will be issued by the school. The award notice will be publicized on the SPBCN National Organizing Committee's public account and the school's public account media. In addition, SPBCN will conduct interviews with the winning contestants and instructors and release them to the public.
