When a sudden illness strikes quickly,
Everyone makes their own choices.
Some people choose to avoid the disease

Some people work through the night in order to help others recover.
Some people run, leaving others in the dark.
Some people sit in front of their computers and continue to learn.

Spiritual Supplies from the Headmaster
在千里之外的美达菲Granby总校区，有一群人跨越了国家的界限，发出了最温暖的声音。美达菲学校总校长Steve Griffin先生代表他们发来一份鼓舞人心的校长信：
Thousands of miles away, at MacDuffie's main campus in Granby, there is a group of people whose warm voices reach across the divide. On their behalf, Steve Griffin, Principal of MacDuffie School, sent a letter of encouragement:
Hi, this is Mr. Griffin from the MacDuffie school in Granby, Massachusetts. This is a message to all the students and faculty at MacDuffie school campuses in China. We know that you're suffering over there dealing with the spread of the corona virus, and it's having an impact on you and on your education. I just want to encourage you as you're in quarantine and then as you return back to classes that you can get through this, we're thinking of you over here. In Granby, our students have done some fund raising looking to raise money and supplies to help the people who are affected in Wuhan.
And we're also thinking of you. So best wishes and we will get through this together. Thanks.

Mr. Griffin hopes that students in all schools will practice the CIRCLE values of MacDuffie School and show their outstanding wisdom, courage, and collective spirit in dealing with the current difficult situation. 美国美达菲学子在获悉中国疫情后自发展开募捐活动捐款捐物，筹集资金购买口罩、护目镜等急需物资发往中国校区，并积极与中国美达菲校区学生联系，希望贡献自己的力量，帮助中国美达菲学子早日走出阴霾，这展现了美达菲血液中的集体精神和善念。
After learning about the current epidemic in China, MacDuffie students in America started a fundraiser to collect and donate money and goods including masks, goggles, and other urgently needed materials. After sending them to the campuses in China, they contacted the students in the Chinese MacDuffie campuses to contribute their own strength and send their well wishes. Their hope is a safe end to this situation as soon as possible. Truly this shows the collective spirit and kindness running through MacDuffie's blood.
在此次募捐活动中，我们看到来自中国美达菲学子的身影，他们积极行动向周围的人宣传、普及疫情知识，为同胞、为祖国发声，积极投身社会慈善活动，以国际视野照见中国未来。
In addition to the fund-raising, students actively promoted and popularized epidemic knowledge to people around them, spoke on behalf of their compatriots and their motherland, and actively participated in social charities to help promote China's future from an international perspective.
